Peer Review #2 thespotless-mind.com
This is a peer review of thespotless-mind.com (A clean slate of love, lessons and life) by Kat Perez. I believe this blog is meant to be like a diary of sorts. One that encourages positive thinking and self reflection. I think the landing page is quite beautiful with the aerial ocean view. There is quite a bit of content that is missing from the site in terms of assignments and weekly posts but besides that I like the theme that they have chosen. I think the quote on the page is nice and relevant. I think that Kat can really do a lot with this site! I believe that the…

It was easy for me to set up my domain and find a hosting service so that alexiscornwall.ca could live somewhere on the web. So how could it not be? Unfortunately, I don’t actually think social media is as accessible and democratic as…

Process Post #4
What audience have I envisioned thus far? When I think about “Hidden Gems” and the people I think I am directing it towards, I think the answer as to who my audience is, is not as obvious as it seems. I mean, of course I would most likely try to gear it towards people in my general age group of 19-30 year olds. Maybe people who already love thrifting and get a high from a good deal like myself. But I also think I want to narrow it down even more. The type of people that I want to target are those who know about thrifting (so they understand the…

Process Post #1
Talking to Strangers This week we were asked to talk to a stranger and write about our experience in doing so. The point of this activity I believe was to get us to think about the difference between our online selves and how we interact with strangers online and how we interact with strangers in real life. My experience with this went quite well. For starters, I am an extrovert. So I love talking to new and strange people. I’m a big believer in everyone’s got a story to tell. This week I was on my way home from visiting my family in Trinidad and Tobago. With the question of…
